Usage InstructionsCooking Method Absorption: 1. Place 1 cup of rice in a saucepan. 2. Add 1 1/2 cups of cold water and bring to the boil, stir gently. 3. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes or until moisture is absorbed. 4. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes. 5. Fluff with a fork and serve. Gentle Boil 1. Place 1 cup of rice in a saucepan. 2. Add 8 cups of cold water and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. 3. Reduce heat and boil gently uncovered for 15 minutes. 4. Remove from heat, drain well and serve. 1 cup of uncooked rice = approximately 3 cups of cooked rice. For softer texture add 1 3/4 cups of water to 1 cup of rice for absorption and rice cooker methods.
